Hey Everybody, 

We are keeping pretty busy and starting to put some more shows up.

Tonight we will be joining our friends Bionica at One Eyed Jack's to help them throw down for their album release tonight.

We are very happy to announce that we will be opening up for Eric Lindell on FRIDAY MARCH 12th at 10:00pm @ Tipitinas.

Then starting April 1st we will begin a Thursday Night Residency at the Bank Street Bar in Mid City that will last for the month of April! Keep checking back because we will be adding more shows and releasing our Jazzfest schedule.

And we also would like to announce that we will be playing the 2010 Bayou Boogaloo in Mid City!! So put that one up in your calendears for the weekend of May 22nd.

Hey Ya'll

This is the new and official Gov't Majik homepage. Look around as we have some videos up, songs for streaming, info on upcoming shows, and all your Gov't Majik needs. I can say that we are more than psyched to be online and able to get our music heard. Soon we will be uploading alot more content, and you will be able to order copies of our the album "Party Favors" from Itunes.

We will also be filling up the calendar with more dates and want ya'll to stay updated so you can come out and get your groove on. The best way to do that is to enroll yourself in the Afro Tech Institute Of Technology, where we will be delevering updates, ticket giveaways, free downloads etc. 

Let us know if there's anything you'd like to see up here, or maybe we forgot something. Check our links pages as we are now on Twitter and have revamped our Myspace, Facebook, and Youtube Pages too.

The next gig will be on Saturday March 6th 2010 at One Eyed Jacks. We will have more info on this later.
